EQUIPMENT CHECKLIST FOR SAFARI
You need to dress modistley if you are visiting muslim areas, (legs covered up
to avoid offence)
shorts are fine on safari
botled water will be provided every day in the 4X4
Swimming kit
layers of warm clothing, tee-shirts and jumpers
Sun hat
Sun-cream with a strong factor rating
Lip chapstick with high factor sun protection
Minimal washing equipment (wet wipes are also a good idea)
Pocket knife
First aid kit including
treatment for headache and diarrhoea
Snacks and sweets (easy way to make freinds)
Toilet tissue (biodegradable)
Cash tips for porters (us dollars are acepted by most people)
Camera + batteries + charger (durable)
One torch (power black outs are not uncomen, but most lodges have there own back
up generator)
Note book, pen, playing cards
